Square Club Golf Day 2025

A group of members took to the fairways yesterday for our annual Square Club Golf Day, enjoying a sunny afternoon away from the office at Moors Valley Golf Club.

Despite the dry summer making the course hard and the fairways tricky to hold, the greens were in fantastic condition - full credit to the greenkeeping team at Moors Valley.

It was a close contest, with Sam Freeman and Matt Coates both finishing on 34 points and matching scores on the back nine. The winner had to be decided on countback, with Matt edging it - claiming the trophy for a second time in his Square Club career. That result also denied Neil Cook a third win on the bounce, with Neil finishing on 27 points.

A top-notch meal followed the prize giving and trophy presentation, and we’re already looking forward to returning next year.
