The Square Club Committee Meeting – Building on a Proud History

Today our committee, led by our chair Darren Winspear, met for our quarterly lunch at our home, the Marsham Court Hotel. Over good food and great company, we looked at how to keep the club growing while holding onto the warm, welcoming spirit that makes it so special.

The Square Club has been part of our community since 1948. In that time, it has brought together people from all walks of life to connect, share ideas and support each other. Darren guided us through the agenda, from attracting new members to making our events even better.

One of today’s big topics was planning our Christmas lunch. It feels strange to be talking about turkey and crackers in the middle of August, but we know it will be here before we know it.

It is always inspiring to see how much care and thought goes into every decision. We are proud of our history and excited for what is ahead. The Square Club will carry on being a place where lasting friendships are made and opportunities thrive.
